Ha ha ha right...... I did tell you how I totally screwed up "the first dance" for them right ? I was standing next to the video camera where Mike was taping Shaye and Urban's dance when my camera starting acting stupid and going in and out of focus. I started cursing at the thing bad enough to make a sailor blush then realized I was next to the video camera. I than asked Mike if he was recording audio (like a dumbass) too..... Ha ha ha that is going to be fun to have to bleep out.

What I do hope got caught on camera is Bryant playing a couple tunes with Urban and at least one with his brother at the reception. It was really cool. Urban doesn't always quite know the lyrics to the songs so I got to be the teleprompter and feed him Dio, Sabbath, and Rainbow lyrics. Yeah, I goofed those up a bit myself. I'm not as well-versed in Rainbow as I'd like to be. There was a party in a hotel room after the reception and Bryant and Shaye's step-brother brought along their acoustics. We had a little sing-along action going most of the night. The only thing missing was the camp fire and the marshmallows. It's prolly a good thing that didn't get taped.
It was a great weekend and it'll prolly take the rest of the week for me to recover. Good thing we've got a three day weekend coming up. It was good to see the crew again, especially Bryant, my brother from a different mother. It was a teaser for the bigger party to come in September.

I love watching the whole bouquet/garter throwing cermonies at weddings. The women will fight over the bouquet like their lives depended on catching it. Meanwhile, the guys scatter when the garter is thrown. If it comes your way you just kinda swat it to the ground. It just lies there until one old married guy throws himself on it to save the platoon.
I don't want to see that video personally. I was sucking ass on guitar. I am going to make up for that at Prog Power and make Urban work his ass off at all the Rainbow/Sabbath/Dio songs I have managed to translate to acoustic though. 
At least I didn't sing Stevie Nicks during the after wedding party.
It was great to see you Brent. Can't wait until PP. We will have a blast. After you left Chris took about five freaking shots of that bourbon. I told her, I'll bring her some "good stuff" at PP, namely some Maker's Mark.
Metalrose was great as well. Had I not been hungover and sleepy, the next morning, I would have given her some money for letting me and Harumi crash in her room. I owe her for that. I also have all of the beer and liquor left over from the wedding. I thought about sticking a few beers in the fridge this morning, but I decided not to.

Considering you have a young son that's taking up some time that would be practice time and considering you and Urban got together for just a few minutes before and considering you basically pulled it out of your butt on the spot it was really damn good. I've seen pros not do as well as you did.
Hey, let me in on which tunes too so I can be up on the lyrics in case Urban needs a little reminder here and there.
