Long time lurker. First time poster.

Feeling like I hit a brick wall with this one and I'm not sure where to go next, I would really love some feedback

Snare sounds a bit thin, maybe add some beef to it around 220Hz? Other than that I think it sounds pretty good, but I'm listening at low volume since it's midnight here and I don't want to wake the neighbours.

 

[Deadstar]

drums are quite weak in general. There's too much separation among the instruments. I'd start working on that low end punch the mix is lacking (kick/bass) maybe try another kick?

I made some changes to this one. I tried another kick as Deadstar recommended, and then made a lot of eq changes to the bass to give it some life in the low end. I also took Salvation 13's advice and added some more beef to the lows of the snare, and also upped the levels of the reverb track to make things glue a bit more.

I'm thinking I may have overdone things a bit, but I'm pretty pleased with it. Let me know what you think.
