This is a clip from our band's song. I was hoping you guys would take a listen and tell us what you think about how everything sounds. I've worked a lot on the guitar tone so hopefully it sounds better than the last version of this clip that I posted here. The link is below, and thanks for listening.

Guitars: Mesa Boogie Rectoverb > SM57
Bass: Tech 21 Sansamp Bass Driver DI
Drums: EZ Drummer > replaced kick and snare since the stock ones are terrible sounding.

sounds dry and in your face... I like it... screw reverb!

I think the guitars sound a bit muffled and boxy... they could benefit from a bit more gain as well.

I was actually wanting a really dry sound so I guess that could be part of the reason is sounds boxy. Kind of like the latest In Flames CD "A Sense of Purpose". Thanks for all your feedback.

Anybody else have any feedback? Does the mix sound good, bad, or just ok?
