FWIW I know where are you coming from, as I myself have problem with doing same ole warmup exercises. But you must understand that those type of exercises are tried and true for a reason.
When you play some fun song (or any song for that matter), you are only developing certain muscle moves. While when you play these exercises, you're gonna develop a lot more. That's why that 1234 chromatic exercise is still the fucking king. Master it to a certain degree, and you'll be able to play like a fucking champ.
There are no short-cuts.

Try some Paul Gilbert stuff, Technical Difficulties and Scarified are great. I'm sure http://911tabs.com has some great tabs. Otherwise, pretty much any Sikth song or Protest The Hero if Sikth is too hard.

But since I'm such a decent fella I'll give it a go. One of my favorite licks to practice is the 6 finger tritone tapping thing Buckethead does like this:

It shouldn't be too hard to figure out the pattern, but it's hard as fuck to play it well and takes a lot of finger coordination. I think you can find it in a Jordan tab if there are any. It's basically just tritones being tapped like 16-10-15-9-14-8 over different strings and frets.
