Ok, I am doing this for a local band. They want a super polished sound but I'm not experienced enough to deliver that. I'm the only person around here that will bother recording metal for next to nothing however...hehe.
Can the good people of the forum help me get this sounding a but nicer? I bought the Joey Sturgis snare sample but I can't seem to get it to sit right at all. It stands out like a sore thumb to me in this. Sounds too much like a baseball bat crack rather than a full sounding snare drum. If I turn it down it's lost in the mix...bleh...I need help people!
