the guitars don't sit right in the mix to my ears.....

I really like the music, great playing. I don't hear anything wrong with the guitars in the mix, but I'm no pro or anything.

Needs more low end overall. Guitars sound good but the whole mix has a bit of a honk to it, think that might be something to do with the mids in the guitars. Sounds good otherwise! Just little things really. Definately needs more bass/and perhaps bring the guitars down a bit, they're great but they're drowning everything just a little bit.

yes i think i need to check out the mids in the guitars because i am noticing this honk now too. i will also try and eq the bass more.

O-dog what mixing board is that on your studio myspace page? I see the digi002 and was wondering if that board was able to control protools.

it is a sony dmxR100. sadly it does not control pro tools. i use it for the pres and the a/d conversion. i don't use the 002 i actually use pro tools m-powered with a profire lightbridge.
