Hi, our band Fragile Mind from Charlotte, NC has two songs up on my space if you could please comment on the mixes. We only have home studio versions so far, but we are working on new songs and getting to the more professional level recording. Thank You.

The songs are pretty interesting, I actually liked Sanatorium dreams a lot. The mixing/recording is very amateur sounding in the track quality aspect, but timing wise you guys have it down very well. I'd say upload the tracks for people to mix! Double track the guitars first

Thanks AllanD. I agree with what you are saying. It is our guitar player doing the recording. Overall, for only the second and third effort total, I think he has done well. However, I think the songs could be opened up a bit and made more clear sounding. In addition the bass needs to be mixed more clearly by using a DI and miking the cab when recording. I am just trying to get ideas to present to him. If I can get my hands on the tracks for uploading, I may just do it so someone else can try their hand at mixing it.
