Also just made this one real quick www.winterskiesprod.com/tripletriffz.mp3 I'm collaborating with a friend writing this stuff so I'm basically tracking every riff I have. Ignore the sloppiness, it's just to get the point across. As far as AD...the only thing I do to the drums outside of AD is replace the kick 100% because I can't stand the kick sounds in AD. Everything else is inside AD using it's EQ, comp and verb. I started with Dimi's Prog Rock kit and tweaked it a tad, not too much actually. Just can't get into the kick sounds so far. I will revisit them eventually, but right now this sounds fine for the "pre-production" I'm doing for this project.

And BTW... Kyle (Bloodjinn) uses AD as well and most of it, if not all (if I remember correctly), is done inside AD. He's been using it to write the Zero System stuff (www.myspace.com/zerosystemmusic).

I prefer to do all drum processing outside of AD, but it`s all AD, no sample replacement.

On my site Brutus and the Pontiac's, Egraine were done with AD. I am getting ready to put up some country music "Chris Riley" that were all done in AD. Gravediggers Jokebook and Divine Heretic was a blend of AD and Battery, overheads are real. The rest of the bands are real drums.

I made a test with the program. I more into BFD but i got AD as a gift so i tryed it out.

Its a nice program.

The snares are great IMO. I've always been a hardcore advocate of DFHS and I like EZDrummer...but I got AD and it blows them away for me.

I haven't been able to get a good tone out of the Sonor one, to be honest... I think I may be tweaking totally the wrong way, tho. My stuff's EQ is pretty extreme. I haven't gotten around to change it, tho... maybe sometine soon.

I really like what most of you dudes have done with your snares, tho. GREAT tones there.

I think I've got Fuge's patch saved somewhere, but, unfortunately, I've been unable to give it a test run as I'm runing just the demo.
