PMF Photos of Ghosts

A girl at my local metal retailers threw this one at me the other day, knowing that I'm a BIG fan of Anglagard, and tend to dabble in the prog every now and again.
I must say it's a very impressive release! If you haven't heard any Premiata Forneria Marconi, jump on it if you get the chance

It pukes on a lot of other things you could be wasting your money on.

I gave PFM a go on a couple of tracks but did'nt like them that much. If you say they sound like Anglagard then I will try this album.

The instrumentation, arrangements and changes remind me a lot of Anglagard, but the overall feel is similar to early Yes. Photos of Ghosts is a reworked English version of "Per Un Amico" - I don't know which one is better. If you're on Kazaa try and get a hold of "River of Life" (the first track on Photos) it's really worth a listen.

I have downloaded a sample of track 5 off the album and I do quite enjoy it. Can definately hear the Yes influence which is fine by me.
