Hey guys, Been Fiddling round with my pod trying to get a tone similar to the Slice the Cake tone.

Heres the clip for what i got right now, Race of Roses Intro, Probably sounds quite twatty considering all my other mix's and stuff are a pile of crap.

and i'm sorry about playing quality and blah blah blah, As i say every time, i'm a bassist not a guitarist... so i cant really strum... or anything... took about 20 minutes to learn the little filly bits....and they're still balls..

Anyway.... Enough rambling, This is it.

Critisise as harshly as you like... Seriously, Any critisism will help!

Thanks!

Well I don't want to sound harsh but that sounds extremely digital. It's like the high end has been cut away.

Listening on small headphones here..

Sound's good to my ears, what pod are you using x3 or hd? :headbang:

Thanks man!

using the pod X3 Pro, i can put up the patches sometime when i've got them a bt better. i'll upload the newer tone version sometime tomorrow.

yeah man, i cut away alot fo the highs in this test vut, because the original song from what i could hear didnt have alot anyway. i'll re-do it sometime with DI's instead of atraight in ao i can tweak through pod farm.

Heres the newer more updated version.

since learning the other parts to it, i could record it quicker, but its still pretty shit...

Anyway, Keep Critisising haha, its the best way forward for me! :D
