Hi,
Am considering buying a PODxt because my V-Amp has totally broken down now (note to self: try not buying the cheapest piece of plastic available next time :erk:,) and I hear that the metal model pack is rather a good deal for people looking to record metal, but I'd like to hear it a bit more first... The Line6 site has samples of some of the models, which sound cool, but I want to hear some of the others (mainly JCM900, 5150 II, Powerball, etc...) so if anyone has any samples or songs recorded with the model pack, thoughts on how good it is, or just XT metal stuff in general, I'd be grateful to hear it. Thanks. :)

It's all plastic, knobs break off very easily, and it has issues with losing patches and suddenly the sound breaking down into noise with a full patch reset as the only solution.

What are you doing; kicking the thing across the floor? :ill:

Apart from losing patches, I've had no problems with my V-Amp II. If you really love the sound of the setting that you're using on the V-Amp II, write down your settings.

Also, if you want to hear samples of the Line6 bass (the original Bass Pod) and guitar (the XT Pro) Pods, click on the link to my band's spot on MySpace.

Dude, I've had to reset the piece of shit so many times I know my favourite setting by heart. :) Brit Hi-Gain, cabinet 10, crank the mids and presence, bass and treble around 3 o' clock

Anyway, I'll check out some MP3's. Thanks.
