Under my current system, I reach into an overstuffed pocket and wind up grabbing my keys. Then I swap those to another and snag my IPod that thinks it's in Zimbabawe randomly and put that down on my desk. After pulling out another few things I finally find my cellphone and figure out the time a minute or two after needing to know. So a watch would be killer but anything wrist-based in my price range would require costly modification to expand far enough to still allow circulation. And a pocket watch kinda defeats the point of having a non-cellular time piece while adding the new dimension of something to tangle with my lanyard.

I used to wear watches all the time then my battery went dead and I havent' worn one in 10 years or so.
