Alright, my poll's a bit unfair. I actually don't hate polls that much, it's just that most of them are extremely irritaing... with such idiotic topics like:
"Lamest Opeth song"
"Worst In Flames album"
"Ugliest band member of said band"
"If you could shoot any member of Dark Tranquillity who would it be?"
"and why?"
and so on...

Oh well, I'm sure this is not going to stop them... so carry on

I like the polls here. There are no incredibly, mind-numbingly stupid, cruel, or crude ones (crude polls may be good in some boards...).

An annoying thing about some polls is after you vote (without posting a message), it moves to the top of the threads. It is possible for one dumb person to vote in about 100 polls and flood the board by moving them to the top of the thread. This happened to this other forum I go to.

Speaking of such topics--some of which I actually found funny... :
"Who is the most intelligent person on this forum?"
"Who is your favorite forum poster?"
"Which celebrities would you like to sleep with?"
"Which board members would you sleep with?"
"I hate fat people, do you?"
"Who do you hate the most on this board?"
"Who would you kill?"
etc. etc... These were all actually posted on this place I used to go to a lot (I still occasionally drop by). It also gets worse too...

Okay, I'm done sharing...

I only like these polls where the thread turns on an interesting arguing about the subject of the poll, explaining reasons, bringing some work to our neurons. To reply: "Yep, I like it" isn't an interesting purpose, though.
