Pop Punk - Balance between raw and polished

These kids are good man. At least for their age and scene. None of them are over the age of 15 and they wanted a balance between raw and polished. I personally feel like they played tight enough to where I could get away with minimal editing. They didn't want shit snapped to a grid and neither did I. I wanted it to have that Green Day "Dookie" vibe. I did all the recording and engineering as well.

Hey, thanks for the reply man. Personal preference I guess. What do you think of the mix as a whole? Does everything "work". The amp was an orange on both sides. They didn't really have time to double track which sucks but I don't think it's too bad for that style. Maybe a tad oversaturated.
