pop-punk mix. need input please

i know this is ultimate metal forums but i really don't know where else to go to get suggestions on mixes so i figure id try here. let me know what you think!

Sounds pretty cool to me dude, if I were to get picky I would use a different snare sample, with a bit more low end body to it, but I like how it is anyway. Honestly, I like the mix and the song, good job!

yeah ill have to mess around with it cause i used the bottom mic in the mix to give it a more natural feel. i agree though cause when i do like the usual metal bands i do i have a super thick snare but since im using a real stuff its a bit different. did you think the vocals are at a good volume?

Also a tad less roomsound for the snare would help to clear it up a bit imo
That and the snare seems to have some strange eq going on...sounds pretty small, and for that kind of stuff you can get away with huge snares,so do it haha

The drums actually sound pretty fitting. I mean, its not a metal mix. Rock is usually big well spaced drums so they sound great. But the drums need to cut more i feel

yeah i agree im going to see what i can do on that snare but i got a high shelf on it so maybe thats what making it sound strange
