poppy rock mix

Nice song indeed. Are you stuck with a mono acoustic guitar track? Hard panned like this the acoustic guitar is really distracting. For the intro and the verse its cool but in the chorus it would be nice to have it cover the entire stereo image. The drums could also use more ambiance. You could maybe automate a room sample for the snare in the verse.

Nice job with the additional instruments. Cool mix overall ! \m/

I like it man! Sounds really good, nice with a song of this kind every once in a while :) For my crit, two things stuck out a little to me; cymbals in the chorus could be tamed a little in the very highend, they're kinda sharp and takes my attention away from the vocals in the chorus. Second thing is the bass, not sure if you've split it to sub/grit channels, but I feel the treble side of the bass is a little too well pronounced for this kinda music. I think you made the vocals sit very well in the mix, and overall it sounds really nice. I like the almost "dry" vibe the mix is giving. You could easilly go for a more reverby approach and make it more studium-like, but I think this worked very well

Overall it sounds pretty great. There are two things that stick out to me, though. First is the tom build in around :54. It sounds a little dull and flat to me. The second is the crashes that start around 1:47. They're a little loud for that section of the song and feel out of time. I don't know if there's much you can do about it now, save for maybe dropping the overheads a few dB at that section until the one at 2:01 comes in.

Those are my little nitpicks.
