PORK PIE SAMPLE CRITIQUE

So I posted a clip a while ago.. and the one negative critique was that the snare sounded like dog shit.. SO! I sampled the snare, and I processed it in order to replace the snare in the performance... these are the samples.. let me know what you think..

This is one of those snares that sounds FANTASTIC live... but when you record it.. it gives you nothing but guff..
