Portrait - Beast of Fire - Classic 80s metal

[Fire breath]

Discovered this on a free metal blade comp. A few of you might know them already. They sound like first 3 albums Maiden mixed with Mercyful Fate with a different singer who I'm not sold on but he's ok. He's a bit iffy for my tastes but I suppose he fits the music well enough. I also hear the mighty Brocas Helm in their sound but the bass player is not as good. Interesting band for you old school direhards.

I love this band and this album. Besides the new Gates of Slumber album, this is my favorite release this year.

the new disc is great and I dont hear any Brocas Helm in them though. I like the new singer.
