Possibly a Taboo subject...........

Yep should be, can only manage the Sunday though, but with Metallica, Brides of Destruction, Machine Head etc should be a good day.
Would be even better if they could get Arch Enemy, Soil and Monster Magnet to swap days!

Will you be travelling by "Vospers" minibus or by your own steam?

The reason I ask I used to meet a load of lads from Plymouth I met in Maguluf at Donny each year, and their regular mode of transport the mighty Vospers minibus !

On another note the Brides of Destruction album is top drawer. :hotjump:

Ah I came up on a Vospers Mini Bus before! Give me some names Fingers!

Think were doing cars this year though as most of 'em are old and married with kids now and the tickets are extortionate!

Yeah the BOD album is a belter

Marc "Cuz" Cussen

We used to meet at the campsite and head into Nottingham and hit "Rock City" using the mghty Vospers transportation. One year we built a human pyramid (Ac/dc headlined "Razors Edge era", Metallica supported I think) and one of the lads who was on leave from the Navy "Cuz's" brother in law to be I think broke his leg jumping off the pyramid!

Yay Cuz!
Was on the phone to him only last night!! What a small world. He is still going to gigs with us, in fact the last one was Alice Cooper at the NEC where he got so hammered he threw up over himself before we even got there! Then we lost him and had to leave him there as people had to get home for babysisters etc etc.
He slept in the bus station in just a sleeveless Motorhead shirt covered in barf and came home the next day, much to Lynn's (the wife) displeasure!
I actually missed the AC/DC Metallica year, but I might have come accross you perhaps on the Aerosmith year, (very drunk) or one of the others. The Nottingham Rock City trips the night before are legendry down here!

Whats your name then Fingers. I'm Nigel Taylor and my brother who was also at most of them is Alex.

Crikey small world ! Do remember me to Cuz, sounds like he hasn't changed a bit.

Say to him we must meet up fo a "Tequila Sunrise and Scrambled egg frenzy" sometime that would be ideal!

Andy Findley's my name, I'm sure we must have met I didn't go to the Aerosmith one kind of lost touch with Cuz.

Right will do that. I will see him on Sunday when we are all out seeing my brothers band and my mates Motley Crue tribute band (Mostley Crue). Another big plymouth bank holiday bender!
Cheers for that.

Incidentally what a great name for a cover band!

Hopefully arrange a meet up for Download. I'm there both days purely cos I was worried they wouldn't sell day tickets.

Have a good one! :ill:
