Since this is an international forum I think it would be interesting to see how much our surroundings differ and also it would be cool to see all the peculiarities and cultural signs from around the world.

I'll post some cellphone photos as I don't have a decent camera nearby, you can do the same or you can go wild with pro photos if you're arv_foh :D

As you can see I'm right next to a very nice park and have a view of the mountains.

On the other side however there are less trees and more fugly old concrete apartment buildings.

Your turn :)

Exactly :) I wanted to point out that sadly there's a contrast between the two. I'm on the border between a dense residential area and an almost untouched park.

Hadn't noticed this thread got a reply.

Thanks Rlan and yes it does, nothing like walking in the park to reset your ears after a busy day/week :)

Yours looks like a tranquil place. Is it somewhere in the countryside or is it close to a city?

commieblocks ftw! (And no I never entered this one in particular but I've seen it and walked around it a few times hehe, used to live in a commieblock for a while myself)

I'll post a picture of the view from my bedroom/studio when I get home from work :P

I have no pics, but I can visualize it for you.

Think of a on old, 50's concrete building.

From the inside.

In the basement.
