sweet, man. i really dig that fade-in effect on the rhythm guitars in the middle. how do you go about eq'ing the rhythm guitars? i really love the way they sit with the bass and drums.

I'd have to pull up the session to see exactly but I typically hi-pass around 125Hz and lo-pass around 8kHz. These guitars were recorded through LePou's Le456 sim.

Recorded in a garage with some cheap mics (T-bone kick mic and two small diaphragm condensers, two Sm57's and an AKG C-1000), recorded with a Firepod and mixed in Reaper with freeware plugins. First real recording I did too, so there's quite a lot of things I'd definitely do differently if I'd record this now.

haha thanks for the tip. im still fiddling with eq and still learning how to utilize it correctly. ive heard great things about lepou's amp sims and heard great demos recorded with it. i gotta try it out soon.
