LEGO GLENN!:yow:

OK, and you have another Swedish favorite of mine, Katatonia. Add Pagan's Mind and Savatage (I'm fine with JOP) and between you and Johan, this is shaping up. lol! Katatonia and Wolverine are way up there on my must see list!

I would expect nothing less. :heh:

Really? Well that is a change. Maybe for the better. But I question the ticket draw of such a decision. While I will agree the stage at PP is better than the local bar stages, is it really that special? It's certainly bigger and has better lights but the backdrops and stage props still have to be kept to a minimum. So why pay to go to Atlanta for a band performing on a regular basis in the local area? Where's the bang for the buck?
Yes, it really is that special (to me at least as both an avid concert goer, active guitarist, and crew member). I LOVE the venue and would much rather see Symphony X there than at Jaxx. OK, I'd rather see every band at Centerstage rather than Jaxx. Not only is the venue nicer, but it also has much better sound, and the vibe is amazing. People at PP are into this music and make for a much better audience. Plus, I don't have to sit through a bunch of horrendous bands to see my favorites. Even the bands that I'm not crazy about still are MUCH better than some screaming bunch who can't play their instruments. While typically EVERY band brings it at PP - again, even the ones I'm not into.

Here's mine. It's mostly a wish list roster, but it's worth a try.

Friday

1. Artizan
2. Benedictum

7. Pretty Maids

Saturday

1. Twisted Tower Dire

Same reason Kamelot was a good choice last year. It's a different scene than it was when PP started. Any band good enough to headline PP probably tours the states.

Very nice list, but I think Glenn said 1-2 returning bands. Out of those 13 bands, 9 (counting Helloween) would be returning bands.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but after Serenity's cancellation in 2008, didn't Glenn say something like "anyone who wishes to see this band live should book themselves a trip to Europe" or something to that degree? Don't get me wrong, I would love to see Serenity @ PP, but if I'm correct, I don't think it's ever gonna happen.

I remember Glenn saying that as well about Serenity. Too bad, I would love to see them as well.

Here's mine. It's mostly a wish list roster, but it's worth a try.

7. Pretty Maids

Saturday

1. Twisted Tower Dire

Is this more a wish list or a guest? Think TTD might finally get a chance to slay that announce? HAHA
I could see Ghost being possible, um maybe not... But pretty Maids would be well worth admission alone.

3. ReVamp
4. Heavenly
5. Wolverine
6. Jag Panzer
7. Anathema

1. Artizan

3. Tesseract
4. Power Quest
5. Mercenary
6. Jon Oliva in any form

I will give this one a try. I don't know anywhere near as much about bands in the genres as most people on here, since generally, most of the roster announcements each year are new to me. But maybe I will get lucky with a few of these (as in some of it being more a wish list)

Friday (1 - opener, 7 - headliner)
1. Eumeria
2. Triosphere
3. Dark Moor
4. Falconer
5. Freak Kitchen
6. Masterplan
7. Within Temptation

Saturday (1 - opener, 6 - headliner)
1. Amaranthe
2. Kingcrow
3. Serenity
4. Wolverine
5. Devin Townsend
6. Pretty Maids

of course, if one or two specific bands from this list are brought in, then I could care less about the rest of the lineup as I would be completely fired up.
