We are proud to confirm that the final vacancy on the PPUK 2008 bill will be filled by VOYAGER from Australia. Recently signed to Dockyard1, Voyager blew the whole ProgPower UK team away with their performance at ProgPower Europe in 2006, and on the strength of that show we immediately offered them a slot at PPUK 2008. Not only are they consummate musicians with a varied back catalogue of songs, but they're also damn good fun! Even Dreamscape's Wolfgang Kerinnis was seen midway through their set with a smile as wide as the Thames barrier, giving them a hefty a thumbs up. It's taken a while to get the paperwork sorted, so apologies for the secrecy, but we have no doubt that they will be a massive hit with the fans on their first trip to the UK.

We're also announcing the ELIXIR STRINGS acoustic stage for the Friday night, a chance to see bands in a more informal setting. The first band we are proud to announce is TO-MERA, the UK act fronted by Julie Kiss. To make things a little different, for this show they have agreed to work up a short set of covers, making it a truly unique performance from the band described by Fireworks magazine as "exceptionally talented... the likes of which you only ever come across once in a blue moon".
