Presenting...MORIFADE

Anyone else heard of this band? My local FYE is going out of business, and everything was 50% off. Al saw their album "Domi Nation" labled as used for $5, and thought he'd heard good things about them. So I picked up the album.

This band is ProgPower-worthy, IMO. But most of all, anyone else know of this band?

Yea old news to us Power Metal fanatics.

Great band. The CD "Imaginarium" is stellar too (hell the whole catalog rocks).

Try tuning into my show sometime and you'll hear about 100 more bands like this that you're not aware of.

Now that I think of it they were included in my Halloween special show this year.

Decent band.... I have had a couple of thier disc for years. They are one of those bands that get lost in the shuffle.

The only thing I know by Morifade is their cover of "Judas" on the Helloween Tribute Album. Decent band, but pretty generic as far as power metal goes.

As much as FYE over-charges for a lot of things, I am kind of sad they're going out of business where I live. They're the only store in Springfield that has a metal selection, with some bands I like. Otherwise, I have to order online, or go to Impulse or Metal Haven in Chicago.

Oh well.


As for Morifade, apparently they're having trouble finding a lable so they can release the new album they have ready to go.

Love Morifade. We actually did an interview with Henrik Dec. 2004. Hope they get that CD released soon. Long time since we had some new stuff from them.
