As announced last month ago, ProgPower USA is thrilled to welcome Kinematic Music as our featured sponsor. Kinematic Music is proud to sponsor PPUSA, and is dedicated to continual support and perpetuation of the progressive metal community.
A division of Kinematic Entertainment, Kinematic Music is an experienced and creative team of industry professionals specializing in developing and marketing multidimensional artists. The first of these is US progressive metal band Mindcage.
"Showcasing Mindcage's new concept album OUR OWN DEVICES at PPUSA is an ideal way to bring this type of cerebral and visual metal directly to the fans we know will enjoy this music and story," Rebecca Firstenfeld, General Manager, Kinematic Music.
Kinematic Music is hosting the welcome party on Thursday 9/5 from 2-4pm at the Artmore Hotel. This will be a great casual opportunity to meet the Kinematic team and learn more about Mindcage. We’re hoping that many of the ProgPower USA fans will show up and say hello.
The Kinematic Music vendor booth will have great offerings for fans. In addition to meeting Mindcage personally, new and limited-edition merch and will be available, including a PPUSA-only 4-song EP with tracks from OUR OWN DEVICES (produced by Michael Wagener). Also, OUR OWN DEVICES CDs can be pre-ordered at the booth for only $12.99, which included a free OOD t-shirt and link to download the digital version as well when it releases on 9/17.
The world premiere of Mindcage's first music video for "The Human Race" (directed by Jason Thomsen) will be on the main stage all three nights (Thursday, Friday, Saturday).
The track "Firefly" from Mindcage's OUR OWN DEVICES is included on the PPUSA compilation CD.
