The weekend draws near and I delight in the fact that I'm at Bradford Rios on Saturday seeing Diamond Head and cometh the Sunday I travel to London town for the pleasantries of Primal Fear and Rage :)

Are there any other ULTIMATEMETALITES going to either gig?

Looking forward to it, a weekend of Metal. Local night of Metal on Saturday in Hitchin. Primal Fear and Rage on Sunday.:headbang: :headbang:

I'm going to the Rage (not forget them) and Primal Fear gig.

Looking forward to see Rage again (3rd time) and first tiem for Primal Fear ^^

yeah sure am going to Primal Fear and Rage (1st time really seeing them although have heard some of there songs.)

If you want to meet up with a few hardy rockers in London then check out the Moon Under Water pub (where the old Marquee use to be) as i am meeting some friends there foe a few beers. Look out for the Saxon jacket (has saxon logo in white on back).

catch you all at the show.

Well I've just got back from the Primal Fear / Rage gig. Did my ears deceive me, or did Ralf say "We'll see you again at Bloodstock next year" as he was leaving the stage? I didn't catch it clearly, so I could be mistaken. Or then again, maybe he's just letting the cat out of the bag. We can but hope (even if PF have been better the last two times I've seen them).

Awesome Show last night and what a good venue the Scala is.

About 4-500 people there on a Sunday Night in London!! Good on you - keep up the support for Metal like this and we will RULE!!

Yeah, I heard that about Bloodstock03 - news to me, but anyway as with all the bands that appeared in 2001, they all want to come back next year! Aaarggghhh - what a choice.

BTW - Primal Fear out Priested Priest with their encore of Metal Gods!! TOP SHOW.

Negative - every musician doing a solo (more or less)

Yep, agree about the solos. Unlike many, I actually like solos... in moderation. But it was just way over the top last night. While you may have problems with so many bands to choose from, this can only make for a better Bloodstock '03 for the rest of us!!! And on last night's evidence, I'd say Rage have got to be pretty strong candidates, too. I'd seen PF covering Metal Gods before, so knew what to expect, but it was very welcome nonetheless. Even though it was probably the weakest I've seen them, it was still a great show.

Primal Fear totally rocked:headbang: :headbang: A blinding show superb through out.
I was lucky enough to meet the band after the show, thoroughly decent bunch of guys signed everything I put in front of them.
They said how much they had enjoyed the show and the reaction of the crowd, they also said they would really like to play Bloodstock03. They went down really well at 01, I would love to see them at 03.

:) :)

Superb!!
Hope you can make it MG, you will miss it if you turn up Sunday though, it is on Saturday 5th October!!
