Prince-N.E.W.S album

Well I never ever heard of prinve before.So there I am on a cd store and see this album for only 4 euro.By the time I see it, it comes to my mind a friend and really really good producer seeing to me that prince has one of the best productions ever.So I buy it.AND FUCK.Its awesome.I know its not what prince is best known for but this one has some great musicianship.And what a drummer..What you think of this album?Can you recomend me any other cool albums of prince?

PS and what the fuck of guitar playing is this?Awesome

yea prince is a really underrated guitarist. he was best known in the world for the album purple rain but he's been around in the r&b/funk community since the mid 70's.

i get s#it all the time from the guys i jam with for listening, but i can't help it. i love his music. extremely well written stuff. timeless, really. check out 'Raspberry Beret'. he sings about ditching work, picking up a hot chick, and taking her to a farmer's barn and ... bow-chicka-wow-wow! you'll find that is a central theme to most of his stuff.

The last minute or so of "The Beautiful Ones" (same album) is also pretty dang heavy for r&b/funk.

Prince is amazing. Watch Sign O' The Times live DVD, the drummer Shelia E is fucking amazing. Princes phrasing on guitar is also amazing.
