Pro Tools Update

I'm fairly new to protools as far as updating goes. I installed the update without uninstalling everything, it worked great. Do most people uninstall protools when just updating within the same version 10.1 to 10.3 etc.? Or only when moving from different versions, 9 to 10 etc.

AFAIK you don't need to uninstall your current version of PT to updating it. But you need to do so when upgrading (v9 to v10). You can have both PT10 and PT11 on the same computer tho.

Usually if you are just updating it uninstalls the previous version before installing the new one in the install process.

It doesn't actually matter which you do, the installers are made to update existing versions but will also do a full install.
Doing an uninstall and clean out dead folders left behind is good housekeeping but there is no right and wrong way.
