producing books

i dont know if this is a thread already (sorry if it is)
but its my birthday this week and im looking at getting a book to help me with basic/intermediate recording/producing etc
can anyone recommend anything? preferably not recording for dummies

Does anyone know books about actually "producing"?

What Jamieoldfield is looking for are books about engineering/mixing and the ones mentioned above are good examples.

I am thinking more about books about "production" from a psychological, methodical and organizational point of view. No tech details, but more about stuff on dealing with bands, organizing the whole record making process, preoproduction, etc.

Any ideas?
