Hey all, looking for some critique and thoughts on the composition. This is a taste of my upcoming bands material.

Guitars sound good to me but snare/kick do not fit the music imo, you could experiment with other samples to see which glues better.

Good song! I would change the drum samples like Spectivum said. The drum seems a little weak. Other than that, great mix!

Really nice song, impressive playing! The sections that comes in at 2.53 is really cool, but the levels should perhaps be lowered slightly to make it merge better with the first part…?
All in all, very nice!

The bass drum/snare samples aren't working for this song as it was stated above. Find something more suitable for this style and you're good to go!

You could also try to glue the tracks together with some slight compression (maybe subtle tape saturation) and add a reverb aux where you send appropriate amount of all the tracks except the bass.

Otherwise, great song and great playing - liking it a lot!

Thanks for the kind words guys, I forgot to remove that clean section lol. That was just me screwing around. Im probably going to change the samples, I havent written anything like this before lol. Anything else? Also is the track loud enough?
