Prog Metal Mix

hi there!

i would be very interested in opinions on this mix! the song is from my own band, and i have difficulties to "step away" from it, if you get what i mean. im used to produce bands i dont play in, and this time im having difficulties to see the "big picture" here, cause i made so many test mixes and tried out different things... ends up in me having no direction to gor for.

ok guys, i managed to get a dropbox account (yay) and loaded mix up:

I invested really a lot of time creating test mixes, tried everything out, and i think the way it sounds now works the best, let me hear what you think:

ps: in some fills there is a bit too much cymbal bleed, gonna fix that later by replacing the critical hits with pre recorded samples from the same toms that are played.

Drums are real recorded drums, on the kick and snare a sample from the same individual drum is blended in.
