Hey so recently I recorded a local Toronto band Transcend the skies and I want some feed back on the mix, the e.p is up for free Download.

It features guest vocals from Three crowns on the second track and the last track is an instrumental

I had to raise the volume on the master by request of the band I originally didn't master it to be where it ended up

No disrespect your Work Brother you produced a great set of mixs as you were asked, it just seems that every band in this Genre doesnt want the Audioplayers output knob to be turned over 2 when listening to tracks
and at these levels there is no space for definition of instruments in the mix due to maxium output bandwitdh overload at low staging.

But i suppose we do what is asked from us

Nothing remotely progressive or hardcore about this band.

And agreed, there is zero transients left because of the mastering chain.
