Progressive Rock/Metal song I wrote

Wrote it over a year ago, just decided to upload it finally. Took me about a month to write, mainly influenced by Atheist and Rush.

And like I said in the description, the picture doesn't really have anything to do with the song, it's just a duck on a bike.

Pretty good. You got some fancy guitar work going on that I enjoy with a cool underlying piano. The song in general is peiced together nicely but ,it may just be the midi or the tone quality, I can't hear a bass and a bass would give your song more depth. But still a pretty good song.

Thanx for the comments. I wrote on power tab at the time, but I'll re-upload it when I copy it over on to Finale in a few weeks (still midi, but sounds almost real) and probably put in some new solos. And there actually is bass, somewhere drowned into the mix, but powertab makes it sound really quite (have to turn the volume really high to hear it =S).

The musicianship that went into this is impressive, but the MIDI tone and lack of drums kind of kill it. Also, I've used Power Tab before, and I really didn't like it. I use a program called TabIt, which is similar, but easier to use in my opinion. Also, what type of soundcard do you have? It sounds like you're using Microsoft GS Wavetable SW Synth, but if you have anything compatible with soundfonts, I would definitely recommend taking advantage of that.

To give you an example of what you can do with soundfonts, here are some recordings of what my MIDI sounds like. BIG difference, as you can see
