Heh, at the station I work at we have an old copy of Slayer's South of Heaven on vinyl. However, if you hold it up to the light, you can see that somebody used it as a level surface to get Henry Rollins's autograph on a piece of paper or something because his signature is etched into the sleeve. Probably the only Slayer album with Henry Rollin's signature in existence.

That same quote was actually taped up behind the curtain a few years ago at Center Stage. I have no idea who put it there, but we left it there.

If you have never seen Rollins on his spoken word tour, you are really missing out on something special.

He takes one deep breath at 8 pm and finishes exhaling at 11---and you are left pondering what he said for weeks.

I have a snapshot memory of Hank grabbing me by the face after a spoken word set in 1994. I saw him again in the mid 00s and he's not nearly as vitrolic as he used to be, but he's still made of awesome sauce.
