Hello, I've bought a set of drumdial trig pads

together with a alesis trigger i/o which is a trig to midi converter.

it seem to be extremely hot signal, i've minimised gain, treshold is max, x-talk is max but it still dual-triggers a lot of times on the hits, especially on cymbals but also on other drums.

I've attached the triggers with dual adhersive tape to the bottom skin of the drum.

How do you experienced trigger guys do when trigging like this? is it possible to trig cymbals without too much false trigging?

Suggestions is very appreciated..

Thanks!

So you want to trigger all the drums and all the cymbals? Might aswell just program it dude. To be honest I've never heard of anyone getting decent results triggering cymbals anyway.

Not really got any experience with the Trigger IO so I can't help you on that front.
All I can suggest is to maybe get some inline pads to bring the level from the triggers down a bit.
