hey, just a quick question this time, what frequencies are affected by the proximity effect with the sm57?
in my records, i have too cut like 6 dbs in the 150-300hz frequecnies, and i am trying to findout what causes it. the problem is that dialing the amp bass down get rid also of the 150-90 hz which is the nice beef of the sound...
i fell like moving the mic away also reduces the subs though.
