Has anyone heard of a Tasmanian death band called Psycroptic...i'm not sure of the spelling? I can't seem to find any of there stuff to listen to and everytime i go to the store to listen to it...they've sold out the one copy that they order....u'd think they'd order more i know but.......
Anyway..let me know where i can d/l some tracks and/or if they are actually any good

keep it real

Psycroptic are good yeah,i saw em at Metal for the brain this year. They sound like real brutal death, kinda like Abramelin and Cryptopsy. I dunno what their cd's like but, probably good i imagine.

just listen to Earth and Sakkuth for all your death metal needs.

sinsof man:where are you from? cos i thought i read in another thread your from brissy. If you are,Sakkuth are also,so your chances of catch them live are good. They are probably one of my favorite bands live.

Earth are from melbourne,ex-damaged singer, with keyboards in the mix to,they are damn good.

yeh Koichi i'm from brisbane....hopefully i will get to see them one day. System of a Down is playing here Jan 22nd so that will be my next outing.
Do you know of any good gigs in brissy soon?

No idea, try and catch Misery to, another good brissy band id you didn't know already

I'm guessing there'll be an Astriaal gig up there soon, they seem to play regulary enough.

Fuckin' 'elll, why'd he leave? I thought he was good with them. Interesting move all round.

From what their drummer told me at Judas Priest, Earth has had some interest from Europe and will be heading there for a while next year. Brendan's just become a dad and bought a new house, so he figured he had to commit to one or the other. It will be interesting to hear Earth with Terry singing. He has a very different voice.

Ah thanks for the info mate. The situation's understandable then, with him being a dad and all that. It will be interesting what they sound like in future, and it's good that they're getting overseas interest.
