the other day I was late for work, hung over, and I needed some kind of bad food to eat, so I stopped at McDonalds.

Do not, under any circumstances, order the new "McGriddle".

this has to be the most heinous affront to the american palate yet perpetrated by this corporate monster.

But hey. I heard on tv, that Hardees is serving angus beef. I went there to check it out myself. You could have knocked me over with a feather, Hardees is serving angus beef.

see, the bread of the sandwich is impregnated with some sort of goop to make it taste like french toast. I didn't know that when I ordered it and my first bite was like, "gee, that's messed up!"

well i haven't eaten at mcdonalds in a handful of years. but maple flavor is a really excellent combo with bacon/egg--i don't know why more corporate places haven't picked up on the fact that everyone who eats bacon and pancakes dips the strips into the syrup.

there's a great hot sandwich at a place nearby me called the "love child" which is ham, turkey, and cheese on FRENCH TOAST, cut into triangles, covered with powdered sugar, and sold with a little bowl of maple syrup for dipping. it's awesome.

even I can agree with that. I just use fake sausages/bacon instead.
