Any Metal bands or fans from Puerto Rico out there ???

Let's chat and let me know how's the scene down there. I've been living in the States for four years now and would like to know how's Metal doing in Borinquen.

am i the only metal listener from puerto rico in these boards? oh and want me to talk in english or spanish hehe i'll talk in english just in case

it's all good around here the metal scene it's pretty much stuck i think i still haven't seen a new metal band around here also pretty much all rockers around here are into nu-metal i have some friends and familiars that are into black, death and symphonic metal i was thinking of starting a band but i'm too busy working in an orchestra that i'm part of and i haven't seen the right people yet to work with i'm still looking for a kickass guitarrist oh and btw i play keyboards, guitar and sing

Hey, no eres el unico puertorro. Yo vengo aca casi todos los dias, solo que visito la seccion de Trades. Bandas locales? No conoces a All That I Bleed? Es lo mejor que hay aca. Progressive Metal de primera categoria, y te lo digo yo que soy un "freak" del death metal y el thrash. Estoy en Manati, tirame un email. Es bueno conocer gente de aca con los mismos gustos musicales.

Cool voy a checkiar esa banda sabes donde conseguir mp3's o si se pueden conseguir cd's de ellos por aqui? oh y yo soy de Rio Grande jeje los géneros que mas escucho son el Thrash, death, brutal death y symphonic-neoclassical metal

Tengo messanger, solo que posteo mas desde mi trabajo, a traves de un server y hay un "firewall", asi que juegos y programas como ese no funcionan aca. En mi casa no me conecto tanto yo cuando lo hago es por corto tiempo. Tengo una familia que atender, hehe Pero seguro, anademe.

Arecibo??? Vaya, un vecino. Soy de Manati. Darkened Skies, hehe. Son mis panas los que tocan ahi, viva Barranquitas (soy natural de alla). Omar (vocs) se crio basicamente en mi casa, a Victor (dr) y Jose Carlos (guit) los conoci un poco despues, pero tambien frecuentes visitantes de la casa de mis padres. Como yo soy mayor que todos ellos te puedo decir que especialmente a Omar fui yo quien lo encamino por los caminos del Metal, AMEN!!

welcome to the puerto rican thread.

I agree with you , that Fundamental is the best Puya album , Union have nu-metal influences and i was not interested. I heard also when Puya was called Whisker-Biscuit.

A darkened_skies los conozco porque tocaron par de shows en Mayaguez, y estan brutales.
