Punk/Metal band I recorded on sunday

Hey guys, I recorded a friend's punk/metal band on sunday. Here is my mix so far. Any suggestions? If i can learn a new technique or something from this, that would be awesome.

I think the overall mix sounds nice but doesn't have power.

I think the hi-hat is too loud, guitars and vocals are too low.

Maybe that helps.

I raised the gtrs a bit, and the vox and added the gang vox. the mix isnt up yet though. will be soon. thanks for the comments dudes!

Yeah, hihats are pretty harsh, as well as the cymbals. Well in all honesty... it's punk :S there isn't much more you can do I guess? Guitars sound fizzy as hell though, but hey it's punk

You really need to get some definition between the kit pieces, all I hear is a kit in a room. The kick and snare need to be hammering my face. The guitars need bringing up and the vocals are a bit sucky so... not a lot can be done about that really.
