The Funeral Album is great. Sad to see those guys go. I still have to get some more Die Krupps, the only album I have is 'I'

We had a JB open near me recently.. EVIL. So far they have enticed me with -

Edguy - Superheroes DVD
Edguy - Lavatory Love Machine(single)
Dream Theater - Live at Budokan DVD
Iron Maiden - Number of the Beast (remastered - i know its tragic that i didn't have it)
Vanishing Point - Embrace the Silence
Dungeon - Resurrection (remastered/re-recorded)
Bruce Dickinson - Tattoed Millionaire (remastered 2CD)
Bruce Dickinson - Balls to Picasso (remastered 2CD)
Bruce Dickinson - Skunkworks (remastered 2CD)
Bruce Dickinson - Accident of Birth (remastered 2CD)
Bruce Dickinson - Chemical Wedding (remastered 2CD)

I'm scared to go back.

Die Krupps I, II and III all fucking rock. Some of the material from I and II is better on the remix album The Final Remixes though. III - Odyssey Of The Mind is killer. All great albums. I haven't listened to Paradise Now properly yet, but I suspect it isn't as good. I'm stoked about their re-forming as well. Rock. I haven't heard any DKay.com yet either. That will be next.

The Funeral Album has some great songs on it, but I don't think it seems as strong overall as their other stuff. Great album though.

What is the Edguy Dvd like??? Is there much live stuff??...... N how much?? :D

It is quite cool. It is really only an "EP" type DVD, so it has the Superheroes video clip, 3 live tracks (all in 5.1 surround) and then a few documentaries. The doco's are quite funny and all up its about 80mins of stuff. Decent for the approx $20!

I haven't bought any CDs in ages. The last ones I bought were Love/Hate - Black Out In The Red Room and Johnny Crash - Neighbourhood Threat. I think I might pick up all the Kix albums next, I only have Hot Wire (my favourite).

I got a DVD haul a week ago though:
- The Party
- Trading Places
- The Hitcher
- The Eagle Has Landed (already had it but the US DVD is in widescreen and was $7!)
- Blow Out
- Dressed To Kill (already had this too but the Aussie one was cut)
- The Bird With The Crystal Plumage
- The Cat O' Nine Tails
- Inferno
- The Image

The Eagle Has Landed rules, best war movie ever haha. I can't count how many times I watched it when I was a kid and I still love it!

The book is unreal too, I love the first chapter which is about Jack Higgins visiting the town and finding the tombstones and trying to uncover the mystery of why a German paratrooper company was buried there, it's rockin.

Yeah I read it again a few weeks ago, and the sequel as well, The Eagle Has Flown, pick that up if you spot it in a 2nd hand book shop or an op-shop.

And isn't Krupps a brand of steel?
Pretty much. It is an industrial factory in Germany that built weapons for the Nazi's during the second world war. Pretty fitting name really, describes the band well. German steel.

As I suspected, Paradise Now is the weakest of their 90s albums. Some good tracks, but weak overall, and the overall sound they have isn't as good either. I look forward to hearing DKay.com to see where they went from there. I hear the first album is a little mellower, and the second is hard hitting. I wonder if another album will happen now, with the reformation. Could rock.
