Saw that Rex was on the new album, but who is the touring bassist? Just saw them last night- great show, but I wasn't sure the bassist was Rex. If so, he's filled out a little since I last saw him.

the show was freaking awesome! I caught three acts- not sure who the first one was- Alabama Thunderpussy, Weedeater, or supelecs(?-is that a band, the name was on a bunch of merchandise). Anyway, the first band was pretty good. They seemed a lot higher-tempo than Crowbar and COC. Crowbar was freaking great. Kirk walked around afterwards and I have to say- not a tall man. Anyway, COC sounded great also. Pepper had some troubles with his guitar through the opener (Stonebreaker), but was good-humored about it which I thought was cool of him (as opposed to cursing and blaming the sound guy or some tech). They did a great version of albatross. Heavy groove. The crowd was not very big, but the beer was cheap (for a concert venue) and the music was great.
