Q about student license

I'm considering buying Cubase4 and I've seen that they offer student versions for a better price. But does that apply only to music students? I read somewhere on the Steinberg site that the offer is for university students (and I think you need a teacher to sign some paper), but it didn't say anything about that you had to be studying music.

Does anyone have a clue?

You just have to be a student. I got a student Cubase Studio 4 while studying international business. Also a student license allows you to use it for commercial purposes.

You just need a student ID or proof your attending school. It's pretty easy. Nobody asks if your a music major.
