Has anyone seen or heard the new live queensryche cd or dvd?

Actually, thats a lie, but I have cds from that era that tell me they were.

I am yet to get my hands on that DVD. Must do so soon. I have heard it is phenomenal

Queenryche is a joke now. They should break up.

I agree. It's basically Geoff Tate and a few musicians he used to hang out with. Maybe they should lose Tate and get another singer, like DC Cooper - he'd rule in Queensryche.

Tate sounds pretty ordinary on the CD. There's no high notes at all and he sounds like he's trying to sing the whole set in a monotone.

He should definitely leave the band. I really liked his solo album, it was a nice new direction for him.

I'd like to know what happened in the years between Promised Land and Hear In The Now Frontier that sent them into such a downward spiral. Something went very wrong, and it wasn't just the arrival of grunge.

Also, what was the real reason for Chris DeGarmo leaving in 98, coming back for five minutes last year and then leaving again? No-one's ever said much about it, and it puzzles me.
