Haven't heard Mindcrime 2 yet, how is it? I can't imagine it comparing to the first. Worth buying?

I read an interview in Classic Rock mag in the UK and it says ' The band will perform the 2 albums back to back on tour this summer, with 2 very different endings planned'
I'm going to see them in 2 weeks time at the Monsters of Rock festival in the UK and the interview says they will play stuff from both the Operation:Mindcrime albums but not all the tracks due to time limits on their set.

i read today that at the oz shows mindcrime 1 and 2 will be played completly 100%. Does anyone know if theyll be doin the whole theatrical antics thingy? Like with actors etc.?

I listened to it for the first time today and on first impressions I was impressed and I certainly wouldn't say it was shit. I will keep it in my car for the rest of the week so I get to know it

Don't compare it to OM...it is a very good release. It is unfair to compare it to the original...that was 20 fooking years ago.

You said it but then again its a matter of taste. My mate who is a huge Ryche fan thinks the same and is slowly warming to it whereas I loved it straight away. It can't compete with the original (what can?) but its a good release in its own right.
Unfortunately given it is a sequel as such it will be compared regardless.
