Depending really how much you're willing to spent on classified hotels. There's also cheap ass hostels available.

Go see Ashura (french band) if you ever get the chance. The self titled song just plain slays. I wish I could see them live. It seems they've got a show on the 9th in Avrechy... not sure how close that is to paris though.

There is no bad place in Amsterdam. Any place that involves weed, prostitutes, and wooden shoes is a good place!
