Question for andy...

Hello andy,

I have noticed lately that many bands (like nevermore,symphonyX,paradise lost,meshuggah etc.) prefer to use line6 products(POD pro) for their live shows instead of the real thing that their able to afford...But they use real amps in the studio (if i'm not mistaken)...
Do you have any expirience with those products? why do you think this happens?...

I don't know, I've never had great results with Line 6, thats not to say it's not good, but everyone has a different way of working.

Line6, being digital and not having analog parts, are much more reliable on the road as opposed to tube amps, and produce tones that are more than adequate when pure sonic bliss isn't quite so required.

I'm with Brooks in this one... tube gear needs a LOT of care...
