Question for King Crimson fans

I know Fripp re-released the "USA" live recording in its unedited form through the KC Collectables series or whatever it's called (the Asbury Park show). For those who've heard both, is the difference substantial (i.e. enough to warrant double-dipping)?

I haven't heard the unedited version but USA had a lot of studio overdubs, particularly Eddie Jobson replacing some of the violin parts, so I would expect there to be a lot of differences between the two.
