The best thing that comes from Germany I can think about now is probably Nargaroth, raw nihilistic Black Metal.
New Kreator is good, but never heard their older work.

I like them a lot and have about 5 of their albums. I saw them record the live album at Wacken and it was "geil" as the germans say.

I haven't heard the new Kreator until now, but perhaps I should do. And I hope, it isn't another disappointment...
