Questons for Armored Saint / Joey Vera

Out of the songs that have been written since the passing of Dave Pritchard, are there any that Joey feels the late guitarist would have loved to play? I've always felt that his spirit really continues to live on in their music.

here's a question for Joey Vera...

You've played on lots of different albums from many bands and projects (Armored Saint, Fates Warning, Chinese Firedrill, OSI, Arch/Matheos, Seven Witches, and Chroma Key to name a few). Out of all the different projects you've been involved with, which is your personal favorite? (Either favorite band you've been involved with or favorite album you've played on) Or any particular favorite songs?

and another common question.....

Where is your favorite place to play, city or venue, in the US? Where is your favorite place to play, city or venue, outside the US?

Unfortunately, I saw this too late. But we did talk about similar topics.

I never know what to expect when I interview someone who's been playing music for a while. I'm always a bit worried that this will be the 10,000th interview they've done and they'll be bored with it before it starts.

As I often do, I have between 2 and 3 pages of questions written out, that I can draw from, for each interview. With Joey, I expected to spend 30 - 45 minutes on the phone. The interview turned out to be an hour, and got through maybe one page of questions. Joey is not only a good guy, but open and honest.
